Espacio Matemático Journal is dedicated to the promotion, development, and sharing of information on Mathematical Olympiads at the Latin American level. Its core objectives are: to provide useful materials for teaching practice and teacher self-training; to contribute to the construction of a specific field in mathematics education; to create networks for the exchange of ideas, initiatives, and experiences among teachers; to foster the renewal of pedagogical discourse; to exert an intellectual and practical influence that allows the development of innovative educational ideas—transferable to participation and success in these types of competitions, as well as to classroom practice—and to offer a space for discussion on peer didactic experiences.
