Editorial profile

The NODO journal is a biannual publication edited by the Faculty of Arts and the Vice-Rectorate for Science, Technology and Innovation (VCTI) of the Universidad Antonio Nariño (UAN), in Bogotá, Colombia.

NODO is an open-access journal; all its content is available for free, at no charge to the user or their institution. Users may read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without asking prior permission from the editor or the author. NODO does not charge any type of article processing charge (APC) or any other fee to the authors of submitted articles.

NODO publishes scientific and technological research and creation articles, as well as reflection and review articles in arts and humanities, featuring transversal axes such as the city, creative and cultural industries, emerging aesthetics, and processes derived from research-creation that, through disciplined and planned structures, generate new knowledge, technological developments, and innovations applied to contemporary issues impacting societies in general. It is aimed at researchers, teachers, and students.

It is an essential requirement that submissions be original, unpublished, written in Spanish (although contributions in English or Portuguese are welcomed), and address one of the established thematic axes.

Two issues per year.
