Opportunities and challenges for Colombia to become a more competitive Latin American country.

Abstract

The article aims to delve into the opportunities and challenges that Colombia has to be a highly competitive country, based on the conference led by the vice president of the Private Competitiveness Council (CPC), Dr. Daniel Gómez Gaviria, where factors such as technology, demographics, and climate change were highlighted, to develop associated topics such as natural resources, agriculture, environmental care and the implementation of technology for opportunities for improvement and development in the different parts of the country, additionally information is consulted in the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), which aims to improve the quality of life in Latin America and the Caribbean, designing and facilitating innovative solutions for sustainable development, through financial leverage, also in the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC), which researches, analyzes and formulates technical cooperation policies to support the governments of Latin America and the Caribbean in seeking sustainable development.
