Abstract

In the course of urban development, the progress in civil constructions has gradually improved, over the years. These are designed to maintain a specific resistance according to their purpose and use, therefore, it allows determining their period of life or usefulness, considering the different atmospheric factors, one of them is solar radiation, which is fundamental as energy transfer from lightning. Solar towards the structure and irradiation, being light emissions imperceptible to the eye. Consequently, it presents deformations produced by the wear caused by abrasion due to the thermal change on the surface of each board. Therefore, this work analyzed the effect of thermal loading on the bridge under study, since atmospheric factors influence the fatigue of the structure.
