Introdução: A implementação da Educação Baseada em Resultados (EBR) na educação vocacional tem como objetivo alinhar os resultados da aprendizagem com as demandas específicas da indústria, garantindo que os graduados possuam as habilidades requeridas pelo mercado de trabalho moderno. Metodologia: revisão qualitativa da literatura, analisando artigos acadêmicos, normas governamentais e estudos de caso relacionados à EBR em ambientes vocacionais. Resultados e discussão: os achados revelam que a EBR melhora significativamente a adequação entre os currículos da educação vocacional e as necessidades da indústria, fortalecendo tanto competências técnicas quanto habilidades socioemocionais essenciais. Iniciativas como a Teaching Factory ilustram vantagens práticas da EBR. Persistem, contudo, desafios em áreas como formação docente, escassez de recursos e complexidade dos mecanismos de avaliação. Conclusões: a EBR tem potencial transformador para a educação vocacional ao promover flexibilidade curricular e preparar os graduados. Para alcançar esse potencial, são necessárias contínuas melhorias na formação docente, infraestrutura e colaboração com a indústria.
