Intellectual property policy

Revista Nodo operates under a non-exclusive licensing model that protects authors' rights while enabling scholarly dissemination.

1. Author Rights
Retained Rights: Authors keep moral and patrimonial rights (copyright) to their work.
Granted License:
–Authors grant Revista Nodonon-exclusive license for first publication only.
–The journal may edit, reproduce, and publish the work non-commercially (no fees or royalties).

2. Reuse by Authors
• Authors may:
–Republish modified versions (including title changes) elsewhere.
–Enter independent publishing agreements.

Requirement: Must acknowledge the work’s original publication in Revista Nodo.

Licensing Process
Non-Exclusive License Agreement
After manuscript approval, authors must submit:
• Signed License Form:
–Single-Author License (template link).
–Co-Authorship License (each co-author signs separately).
• Copy of Official ID (e.g., passport, national ID).

Key Terms:
Non-commercial use: No profit is derived from the work.
AttributionRevista Nodo must be credited as the original publisher.

Author Control: Retain rights to adapt/republish your work.
Open Access: Ensures free global readership without paywalls.
Legal Clarity: Protects both authors and the journal.

Compliance
Co-authored works: All contributors must submit individual licenses.
Breaches: Unauthorized reuse without attribution may trigger COPE sanctions.
